Inappropriate attention from James / Chinese 30+ Women

Jan 29, 2009 22:44

Because any attention from James (yes SC, THAT James) is inappropriate.

So went to a vendor steam lab today, got a little tour, some free books, find out the guy I worked with 4 years ago is still there. Then James kinda walks by, we see each other and have a holy shit moment. I got a company hat before he did. ;_; I should facebook him later... Anyway book it from steamy place.

Bought some new pillows, and throw blanket (not quite sure I understand the concept), and computer chair. Lets see if memory foam works. I want to get a new blanket set for my bed but no one seems to include the actual mattress cover in their boxed sets...and there is also no common terminology. I don't want to buy a boxed set and be missing a piece and have to use the wrong colour and ARGH its fucking blankets quit making this harder to pick out than steam traps.

I went to small business workshop #2 and have concluded I don't need a business license to do what I vaguely want to do. Google Adwords money can just go into my normal account, it would seem...

Lastly, something about wearing this red shirt and touring a steam lab draws attention from professional chinese women in their 30's who just moved here from China about a year ago. The same exact shit happened 4 years ago... I'm going to be a tonque-in-cheek racist and blame it on the colour red.

P.S. Ignatieff (however you spell that) is actually pretty shrewd with his "give us a little accountability and we'll go along Harper" idea: he can use each budget review as a good excuse to pull his support and trigger a coalition, or better, and election. Until then he has time to get the Liberal's financial state and volunteer apartus in order, and build his personal brand in Canada.

Jack Layton seems pissier all the time, or maybe that's just me. The older I get the harder I swing center (economically).
