So I'm feeling Nostalgic, and started looking at Final Fantasy Legend 3 for Gameboy again. (It's actually Saga 3, just called FF to boost the marketing).
It was kinda neat game. Chrono-triggery plot, with the world getting progressively worse as you went through time. A neat system where you could turn your party into monsters and robots (that I never used enough). Good music. Kind of weird how two of the main characters have zero lines, though.
Best fucking airship ever. The Talon. Three levels of soaring, travels through time, through dimensions, lazers to help if you're attacked, an inn, something to manage your monster/robot transformations, get the best merchants in the game on board, has your dad's brain piloting it or something (if I recall), even bursts into the final castle to help you with the final battle. Kick ass. Practically it's own character.
I'm gonna post an example battle.

"Fenrir used 2-Tusks against Athran.
It hit 2 times.
Hit x 2!"
Just so, uh, so you know, it hit two times. (Note: attacks like this will always hit "x 2!" It may as well just be one attack...whatever).
