But Glover is also a writer (his first job in show business was writing on The Daily Show while still an undergrad, then 30 Rock) a stand-up comedian and a musician. "I worked really hard to put myself in a position where you couldn’t say no to me." Glover’s first major album as Childish Gambino, his nom de hip-hop, Camp, sold 60,000 copies its first week. On success: "I don’t have enough time now to do everything I want. And that’s a good thing. I hope I never ‘make it.’ I wake up every morning saying, ‘I got to be better.’ I don’t think I ever feel satisfied.”
