First Look: Jack Black joins 'Community'

Jack Black crashes the Community clique in an episode airing Jan. 14. The frenetic funnyman plays a flaky classmate who’s been stalking Jeff (Joel McHale) and the study group. “There’s this awesome way we go back and show you that he’s been in all of our classes,” says McHale. “We just didn’t realize it.” Black’s possibly unstable student strums his guitar and tries to win over the gang with homemade lemon bars. “This character was perfect for Jack,” says McHale. “He makes so much out of every word that it was inevitable that he’d be terrific.”
