CommuniCon 2 is coming!
The second-ever fan-run "Community" convention, CommuniCon 2, is happening Oct. 19 & 20th at the Embassy Suites in Glendale, California. The first CommuniCon was standing-room-only full. It included a writers’ panel moderated by Meg Masters of TV Line, a supporting actors’ panel moderated by Eric Goldman of IGN TV, a trivia contest moderated by Danielle Turchiano of The Examiner, fan testimonials, a panel about the Six Seasons and a Movie art show put on by PixelDrip Gallery, a costume contest, and a presentation and Q&A session by creator Dan Harmon. Yvette Nicole Brown and Gillian Jacobs also stopped by to talk to fans. There was fan art and merchandise available to peruse and purchase.
Want to be there this time? Well, the only way to get tickets is via the convention's Kickstarter campaign. Remember, this is a fan-run convention, so NBC, Sony, etc. aren't covering the costs. By backing at the $40 level you can get admission good for both days. Other reward levels are also available. You can even just kick in a few bucks to show your support.
