This is probably a silly question, but what is dill tea supposed to taste like?

I tried making some from a jar of whole dill seed I got in the spice section of the grocery store. (Good luck finding it anywhere but in the spice sections. I couldn't even find it in the organic whole foods area.) I assume it's the same thing, so I boiled two teaspoons, lightly crushed, in one cup of water for five minutes. It came out very light flavored so I brewed it another 5, as one website said to brew it 10 minutes.

It's still a very, very light flavor. I was expecting pickle water (lol) and I got something that's...very faintly herbal. Did I make it right? It's quite good, I just don't know if I made it right. :P

On the same page, what does fennel tea taste like? (I have irritable bowel syndrome, so I'm trying different "tummy teas" so to speak. Peppermint, ginger, and chamomile are all yummy.)

PS: Ordered from adagio, thanks for all your advice! It should arrive tomorrow or the day after.
