Over the past few months, I've become addicted. Inexpensive ways to increase my collection of (boxed) teas?

Amazon sells quite a few brands of tea in discounted multi-packs. Other than that, I'd need a better idea of specifically what you're looking for to be much help.

I loved the tea exchange that this community was doing a couple of years back!

Get into loose-leaf teas. ;)

The initial investment is a little pricey... gotta get strainers, or a bodum french press, maybe some cool jars to store the tea... but loose-leaf tea is generally cheaper, fresher, and allows you to experiment.

Agreed... except the part about it being pricey.

You can get an Ingenuitea (which is handy tea strainer), plus 4 loose teas of your choosing, plus a book about tea from adagio for under $25 (including shipping):

I have one at work at I love it :)

If you want to buy one (to the original poster or anyone else), let me know and I'll send you a $5 off coupon for a first purchase :)

Also, I love your icon (you got it, you got it). Where did you get it from?

If your ever interested in getting into loose leaf tea, I can send you a $5 gift certificate off your first order at Adagio. A friend sent me one there, I was able to get three small sampler tins (each tin makes about 10 cups of tea!) and only spent about 3 dollars covering the rest of the order and the shipping! You can get a really cheap tea infuser at Ikea & probably other stores, but I haven't really looked elsewhere. If you're not into loose leaf and would rather stay with bagged tea, I'm a big fan of Celestial Seasonings. You can often find it at your local grocery store or else a bigger selection can be found at Whole Foods & other health food type stores.

If you're interested in the gift certificate, let me know, but use the email you're going to use to purchase the tea, because the gift certificate will be attached to that email address. :)

I'm sorry that I saw this so late. I tried to send you the certificate, but it said you had already signed up with that email. :(
