i was recently in cape breton island, canada and someone was telling me about the superstition of 'money in your tea', of which i've never heard. if you can drink all the bubbles in your tea in one sip, you'll be coming into some money (that's how they explained). does anyone know where this particular tea superstition comes from? cape breton is pretty strongly scottish, or maybe just an atlantic or even cape breton thing. anyway, i thought it was kind of neat and was just wondering a bit where it came from.
thanks!
