*quickly shoots a look over her shoulder before wrapping her arms around Sirius's neck*

But agreed, no tongue. We don't want any unintentional homicides to marr the evening.

*chuckles warmly and touches her cheek, kissing her softly on the mouth*
*moves to murmur into her ear*

Have you seen your doppleganger around? A James from another place has just come up to talk to me- it's very... strange, to say the least.

I've heard of him and seen him about, though I haven't spoken to him. He seems a bit stuck up, to be honest. It's... very strange. I've been speaking to the other James as well, and... *shakes his head* They look exactly alike. It's a bit scary.

*dryly* Yes, it was a struggle but I managed to restrain myself. Besides, Remus and I have quite a nice friendship developing and it would be a shame for it to be ruined by me sticking my tongue down his er- boyfriend's throat.

Anyway, in the past there might have been days when I would've cheerfully watched you take a beating but I like to think we've moved past that stage. .

*nods* Yes- there must be another Lily around somewhere, although I haven't seen her yet. The James I'm talking to- he's James, but he's not James, if that makes any sense. There's some differences.
