Dear Mum, Dad and Ginny,
Well, Im in Gryffindor. I bet your not that surprised, but it was a releaf, I can tell you. I got all nervous beforehand, specially because Harry - well, Ill tell you about that in a minute.
That hat's a bit wierd, isnt it? At least it didnt hurt, though. Ginny, dont believe a word Fred or George tell you about the sorting sermony serremony seremony when its your turn.
Anyway, the REALLY IMPORTANT news is that Fred and George werent lying about Harry Potter. He was on the train - I sat with him the whole way up here, and he got sorted into Gryffindor, to.
He seems like a nice bloke, but it was really wierd talking to him, cos even though hes so famous and all that, he hardly knows anything! Like about not saying you know whos name, or Quidditch, and he said in Muggle photos, people dont move around! Can you believe it? It must be really hard being a Muggle.
On the train, Harry bought loads of sweets - we had chocolate frogs (I got Morgana again), every flavour beans, droobles gum, cauldron cakes and lickerish wands. And before you ask, Mum, I gave him some of my sanwitches in return. I wish you could remember that I dont like corned beef. We had loads of food for tea, to!
I dont think he likes those Muggles hes been living with. He said they were horrible, and that he wished he had five older brothers who were wizards. Which is funny, cos I sometimes wish I didnt.
Anyway, Harrys all right, and then there are three other boys in our house, so were all in the same dormitry. There are some girls, to, but I dont know much about them, except that ones a right bossyboots. Honestly, she thinks she knows everything! She was yacking away to Percy like he was her boyfriend or something, it was really embarrassing.
We met some Slitherins Slytherins on the train - at least, they got sorted into Slytherin when we arrived. Scabbers bit one of them! It was ace, they just ran away after that. What a load of idiots. Im glad Im not with them.
Anyway, were supposed to go to bed now. Our dormitry is right at the top of the tower - you can see the Quidditch pitch through the windows.
