BLAISE ZABINI: 22 April, 1997

Dear Beppo,

You'll be pleased to hear that I've been able to commission a portrait. There's a very talented young man in my year who has agreed to paint me in deshabille and for a reasonable price. Draco has promised not to throw a fit and Anthony (which is the name of the painter) has promised not to perish from blushing. He tends to blush otherwise; the poor boy is permanently red and of course I can't resist the urge to make him blush and squirm a bit more. An inclination we share, as I recall.

Actually, I think you would like my young painter. Next you come visit I shall introduce you, and then you can experience his talents yourself. That way you might also be spared death by a Malfoy tantrum, which would otherwise undoubtedly ensue.

Please give my love to Aunt Isabella, and tell her that I'm looking forward to making an addition to her collection.

Your fond cousin,

Blaise
