What kind of portrait? And why doesn't your cousin just ask for a photograph of you? I mean, they do move and I'm sure that would be more interesting than a still painting.

Because photographs are not as much fun? One would not like to hang a large photograph in one's library.

In my family, we have portraits done too, but they usually are of the person sitting in uncomfortable clothes with a hunting dog or two. Very stiff.
