SANARA SINISTRA: 25 December 1941

Dec 30, 2005 10:52

Dearest Father,

I hope this letter finds the household well. Give my love to mother and Eddie, and best wishes to Mrs Hooper. I miss being with you this year, and I am worried that this year will be worse than last year. I know that that is a silly, and that you are worried too. But Hogwarts is very dressed up for the season. I ate breakfast with Tom, but he has gone to Minerva’s for Christmas dinner. Olive and I will be eating lunch together whether we want to or not, I suppose.

Thank you very much for the books. I know you don’t like me to fly, but I am always careful, and haven’t fallen since that one time last year. The magic theory book looks is very heavy, and I haven’t opened it yet. But I am sure I will enjoy it very much when I have a chance to read it.

Did Eddie like his carpet? I would love for him to write to me, if you or Mrs Hooper could help him. I have so little here to remind me of him, and I miss him very much. I hope you can make good use of my box. Elizabeth and Minerva helped me with the charms. That was very interesting work.

I hate worrying for you.
Please reply as soon as you can.

Love,

1941, sanara_sinistra
