Dear Mr and Mrs Prewett, Elizabeth and Charlie,
I hope that this letter finds you well and in good spirits for the approaching Christmas celebrations. My mother is, as you know, unable to write, but I wished to send you our regards on her behalf, as I know she would want me to.
You may see my father at the Ministry events this year, and I know he would enjoy being remembered by you. The midwinter season is a time of joy and hope, even in these troubled times, and it cannot help us to remember old feuds above older friendships.
I look forward to seeing Elizabeth and Charlie on their return to Hogwarts for the beginning of term, and wish you all the best for a Happy Christmas and hope in the New Year.
