Zabini?

What... What are you doing? Tell me you're not doing what I think you're doing. Tell me!

yeah, Draco's pissed off. Score!

*lifts eyebrow*

That would depend on what is it that you think I'm doing?

Now is not the time for eyebrow-raising and games, Zabini.

*smiles thinly*
You've written a book?

It's always time for eyebrow-raising and games.

I have indeed written a book. I feel the career of a novelist would suit me well. And is also potentially lucrative.

*laughs hysterically*

You wrote a book? Wow! I wish I could write, but all I've ever written is silly poetry which isn't even worthy of The Quibbler. What's it about?

I did, yes. Just a silly little thing, but I'll get you a copy if you like when it's done.

Oh, that'd be great. I love reading. I wish we had more fiction books at Hogwarts, don't you?

What type of story is it? Horror? Romance? *looks curious*

It's a kind of mixture. Adventure, sex, horror, porn...

Mr. Malfoy. My novel is a work of fiction, and in no way describes any student of Hogwarts. I would not risk libel, nor, most importantly, bastardise my art by making use of real people. Every character is a work of imagination. If you wish, you can have your lawyers read the text pre-publication to make sure none of it offends.

Tell me, is this book based on personal experience? It sounds rather interesting. I do have to say that I rather like the title "Aristocratic and Incestuous in Hogwarts", not that I'd know anything about that, of course.

It's based only on my imagination. To do otherwise would be crude and unimaginative.

But I find imagining fictional scenarios very enjoyable. What about you, Regulus?

*naughty grin*
I do indeed. Do you imagine such situations often then? You must have a very vivid imagination if you've written a book on the subject.

I do. And I find that imagination grows when exercised, and the more time one spends thinking about...things, the better one gets at it.

*eyes Blaise with a healthy dose of suspicion*
Mr. Zabini, while I do support our students working as much as possible on their later careers, I wonder if this is a wise course of action?

How would it be unwise, Professor?

*takes a deep breath*
Seeing as the reaction your proposed book has caused so far, you might be subjected to some rather unfriendly responses.

*eyes him shrewdly*
And I would think you might have had enough with the publicity your mother causes...

I am not concerned with unfriednly responses. I am a Slytherin, Professor. Such responses are nothing unusual.

And it is because of publicity that I've chosen to use a pseudonym.

*stops smiling*

And I believe I am sufficiently familiar with unwanted publicity to manage it.
