(no subject)
so im back from my trip...and it sure didnt start off very well.
Day ONE
On the first day we got to Montgomery and 2 out of the three cars my church took got in a wreck, and one of the cars was totaled. Everyone was ok and i was in the only van that wasnt in the wreck. After a 6 hour delay we reached Atlanta 14 hours after we began our trip.
Day Two
I was soo excited that we were going white water rafting. We got in the raft and not 30 sec into our expedition, i get thrown out of the boat onto a rock. while our guide was pulling me out of the water we got a little off coarse into what was apparently a really bad situation. Our guide started yelling at us to stay together and hold on to one another. i have never been that scared before.Later though, the mood was lightened by natty's cherokee call.(thanks natty). That night we camped in the rain and just about everyting got wet.
Day three
we were all in a bad mood from the previous days and all of a sudden the speedometer, odometer, gas guage and air conditioner in our van went out. Another hour delay and we were on our way again.
Thank goodness the rest of the week was better. i met some awesome ppl at mt.top and had some great convos with ppl about religion and fatih and hope.(thanks mc)Amy was a great driver and the ppl in my van made the trip not so bad.The expeirience was great, but im glad to be home!
