IT'S DECAF, IT DOESN'T MAKE YOU HAVE TO GO AS MUCH.

Last week was pretty good.

Ashley's b-day was Tuesday, so her parents came out and brought us all cake and ice cream. I made her a pretty rockin' card, but then my printer wouldn't print the right colors.

Wednesday, DJ came out here to visit. We just laid in bed and talked, ate tacos with the girls, etc. SO fantastic that he can just drive out here and visit whenever he has time. I suppose it goes the same the other way around, too. For some reason, Maggie and Ash both thought he was way taller than he is, which is weird.

Thursday, all the girls came over (Angela, Amanda, Ash, Mag and I) and we watched tv and talked. Finally we all decided we needed to go out, so we took a little road trip and went to Rodeo, which is actually The Rush now. First of all, it's a shitty club, but none of us had been there so we didn't know that until we got there. Second of all, $7 to get in a door to anywhere is not cool. We walked in and there were THREE people dancing. Lame. There were a lot of people there, but no one was dancing. We met some drunk guys pretty early on. One looked like he was about 30, and was so drunk that he didn't even know he was drinking anymore. His best friend was a boderline midget (probably 4'10"), and their other friend was just a complete dick. As expected, Mag and Amanda got hit on while the rest of us danced with each other. But, Brian the midget was a super nice guy, and for the most part it was a pretty good time.

Friday I went to see my new psychiatrist who, it turns out, I really like. Talked to her for about half an hour, then headed home to meet DJ there. It was nice, my parents were at a retirement party with Aunt Mary and Uncle Dennis, so we had the house to ourselves and actually got to talk and shit. Met them out at Team Trenda's house, where we were immediately made aware of the fact that Aunt Mary had made Cocaine Brownies... hilarious. Got my ass kicked at cards, but had a good time.

Saturday we sat around the house all day. I typed up DJ's new resume and cover letter and we worked on looking for other jobs for him. There's nothing really wrong with this one, there's just no chance for advancement and he'll end up working the shitty 3rd shit with random days of the week off, probably for the next 30 years. Mom made us Belgian waffles for breakfast. They were fantastic. Saturday night we watched The Santa Clause 2, which I had forgotten I'd seen and is really not a very good movie, and Monsters Inc.

Today we went to Eau Claire for my Grandpa's b-day party. He's 69 now, which DJ wasn't mature enough to ignore. Had excellent food, except for the cake, played cribbage with my Dad (they have a board that's built into a table, it's really cool), and talked to all the ass old people there. It meant the world that Deej came with. I slept the whole way there and back, and DJ was nice enough to sit in the middle on the way back so that I could put my head on his shoulder and sleep.

I love that boy more than life itself, even if he did beat me at pool today.
I had an anxiety attack about my Design Foundations project this weekend. It was bad. But, the problem got fixed, and that's all that really matters.

Hopefully DJ has next weekend off so we can go to Dustin's bball game on Friday. DJ hasn't been to one yet and really wants to, so it would be fun to go. Sara and Ang said they'd go too if it works out.
