This is the first instance where the audience realizes that the clown graffiti had been there all along. Even after several rereadings of Homestuck, I am still not sure what is going on here. I think the accepted theory is that John did it in his sleep under chucklevoodoo control by Gamzee or something? Jesus. I'm keeping my eye on this one.
