Leave a comment and I'll give you five topics to talk about in your journal. sushidog gave me these:

Boys
BOYS! Summa-summa-time love, summa-summa-time love. Boys, boys, boys. What can I say, I started liking boys as soon as puberty hit. Unfortunately, I was part of a large group of boys that only liked girls. Then I fell in love with a singer who ( Read more... )

brasil, barbarism begins at home, dear old blighty, work is a four-letter word, high rising, well i wonder, sul de minas, bona drag, new generation, handsome devil, little lamb on a hill, a world war was announced, meat is murder, of montreal, we are the pigs, the last of the family line

*did someone say rugby? i have just discovered that i love nearly all men who play rugby. why didn't i figure this out earlier? what a bother, i am going to either have to make gregor beef up or take a secret lovah.

*i am glad to hear kevin is warming up to brasil. i think it is a great idea, but i do worry about what might happen if he doesn't like it and you don't want to leave...i hope some sort of brasil "safe word" can be sorted out. i remember you mentioning moving to canada, is that going to happen any time soon or is it indefinitely put off?

*burek? urgh, i'll pass. that is the main street food here (pizza and kebab coming in at 2nd and 3rd) and i absolutely DETEST it. can't you master a nice curry or perhaps some chinese dumplings? let me know, and i'll be right over.

Kevin spent three months there in 2000 and seemed to like it. I was unemployed at the time and not the best of company, so he spent a lot of time indoors with me, which he complained about. But we also travelled a bit, went to Rock in Rio, and in general he really liked the country and my family. I think there would be challenges, but these could be easily overcome due to the family being behind us. Canada is still a major goal but there's nowhere there Kevin wants to live apart from Montreal - and a good knowledge of french is essential to get a decent job there. In this climate of redundancies and shrinking economies, I don't know if it's a good idea to move to a city where finding a job might be a struggle!

Did someone say burek is the main street food over there?! Why didn't I figured this out earlier? What a bother, I'm going to either have to make Kevin move there with me or take you as a secret lovah. ;-)

ok, brasil all the way. please give us the address where we can send letters of support to persuade kevin to go. i will SO visit you there. heck i still need to come visit you in UK (this year for sure).

also, if you're gonna be secret lovah, you better hit the gym straightaway. i just looked at the dieux du stade website, and oh dear....i don't think i will ever be the same again.

With all the weight lifting I've been doing lately, I'll soon be looking like a dieux du londres in no time. *i can hope*

But I'll definitely share my new address if we move and hope that all of you come visit... that would be brilliant beyond words!

I'm ready to abandon all boring responsibilities for a room on that hill and a bottomless cup of passion fruit juice.
