Tower Block Office

I'm doing two things today I've never done before:

1) working from home
2) visiting a police station to hand in criminal evidence of a robbery

My temporary office, located in a charming tower block that overlooks the East End, has run out of coffee and biscuits; a trip to the cornerstore may be in the cards. I've got All Flashback Alternatives

Blah, I'm relatively certain I tried to read a Joyce Carol Oates book and it totally pissed me off and I gave it away before I'd even reached 100 pages.

I've never read anything by her before. Just reading "The Falls" and totally hooked! It's like the novelisation of Sylvia Plath and Dynasty combined.
