today i found a dog. it was an old dog with a big ugly tumor on her leg and a raw spot on her foot. i thought she was lost, so i called the vet listed on her tag and tracked down her owner. i called the owner, but she wasn't home, so i left a message and told her that i have her dog. i gave the dog a little blanket and some food and water and set her up on a leash outside.
then, suddenly, said dog was missing.
and then her owner called me and said "yeah, i was visiting someone in your apartment complex and just left her downstairs, but thank you for your effort!"
oops. oh well. i should drop out of school and become a crazy dog lady.
