Ew no no no a billion no. Therapists don't get involved with the people they're seeing. I know this is a fluff show but that's such a gross violation of ethics. I was really hoping they wouldn't. Maybe it's a misdirection.
Ugh, I'm with you. I love Dr. Ryan. I don't like the idea of her compromising her professionalism and getting "down" with either of them. I respect her character too much. I want her to be fondly amused of Wes's grumpiness and Travis's flirtations. UGH.
Yeah, I love Dr. Ryan as well and that definitely would make me like her a lot less... How could they ever go back to "just" being therapist and patient if they REALLY hook up? I don't think that's possible after all... do you?
I agree with you completely. Dr. Ryan is a professional. If, after doing something very unprofessional like embarking on an intimate relationship with a patient, she didn't refer said patient to someone else, I'd find that a violation of ethics. Usually, very vulnerable people go to therapy. Their therapists know things about them that makes for a very un-level playing field. Maybe that isn't the case in a comedy, but if that's the message USA Network wants to send, that that sort of thing can be romantic, no on my part, thanks.
Yeah, that's what I mean... they can't "Hook up" and then go back to "so now this is our next therapy session", so I hope, they won't... it would just be awkward and strange... and I hope, they are at least a little bit realistic in that...
She has a serious boyfriend. And is their therapist.
I'd wager that Wes gets a crush on her, but nothing really happens. Just an ambiguous moment between the two, which the writers will never bring up again, likely.
Yeah... I hope so... I really hope so... I don't know how they could EVER go back to being patient and therapist again if something would happen between them...
Yeah, I hope so, too! I don't really like this information/Spoiler... I mean, how could they ever be "just" Patient and Therapist again if they hook up...
