Well, today isn't much better.
In comparision though, I only want to maime people today instead of killing them violently and then letting their corpses be kicked by donkeys.

Ah, but yes. Today I only wish for them to trip, fall, and sprain something, and then have to run away from the angry donkeys with a painful sprain.
