School/work/art in 3-2-1
I got all excited when I saw the title of episode 03.01 of Doctor Who: "Smith and Jones." I thought that maybe Ianto would be making an appearance. Perhaps trying to track down the vanished Jack. My fangirl heart went SQUEEEE. . . until I found that the Jones they're talking about is a girl. Sad, but still yay, for third season Dr Who and second season Torchwood! I just wish I didn't have to wait so long (they premiere sometime in fall!).
In other news, I've finished two commissions. One for the loverly randomslasher (for her and Thuri's RandomWeaver "Changling" story) and the other, a graphite portrait that can be found on my DA site (http://kebinns.deviantart.com).
I also have a job now (a "real one," as my mother so gently put it), working at Dairy Queen as a cake decorator. With my full course load, commissions and now another part-time job, I'm going to die! I have the time if I stay organized and focused. . . but what about my slashy fanfic time? My sit-down-and-doodle time? My watch-Torchwood-kissing-scenes time? Maybe I'll just give up sleeping. . .
