There should be a Blue Beetle: Brave and the Bold where he just teams up with whoever's cutest and least threatening and they go on a cute adventure together full of cuteness and cutocity and nothing bad happens ever.
This is not meant to be racist but it kind of comes off like it but really CELEBRATE BROWNNESS. I meant to draw this for Hispanic Heritage Month, but for some reason it's Sep 15-Oct 15, and not like... just a month. And yes, that is Vibe, the one and only Puerto Riiiiican.
Honestly, if I was in the DCU, and some strange alien creature embedded itself into me, I would look up Animal Man so fast.
Hey, if Jaime got shot by someone, they could keep it a mystery and then have JLI solve the crime of "Who shot J.R.?"
