Who else thought they'd never hear about that "zany geography gameshow" once it went off the air about 10 years ago, followed by it's equally short-lived spin-off "Where in Time..." Well, now it's back!
In two weeks, Wakefield's nascent a cappella group, as of yet un-named, will be performing their rendition of the Rockapella's hit theme song for that kids' show. So far they've rehearsed for two hours and think they have a meritable performance in the works. The group includes co-founders Dan Casey (vocal percussion) and Rob Wettach (bass), along with other Wakefield High students Noah Rodman (Tenor), Bobby Evangelista (Tenor), Jeff Mitchell (Baritone), and Brian Wettach (Baritone) from St. John's Prep. They will be performing at a concert to benefit AnnMarie DelRossi's team for the Three Day Walk for Breast Cancer in the show "Breast Fest" located at the Universalist Unitarian Church downtown on Friday May 19, 2006.
I will leave you with
this:
sorry, Noah, I had to.
