Good/Bad
Today was kinda up and down.
I skipped out of driving around MA w. my grandparents to work on my secret electronics project. I got my prototype 100% working, now i just need to make 10 more of them.
Went to Rent w. friends. It kicked ass, again. Then hung around the mall.
We didn't want to go home, so at 10pm me, tess, annie, and derek decided to watch PotC in my minivan while parked in tess's driveway. We are so cool.
I had a great night, only to have it squashed by my parents when I came home.
They don't like me associating w. younger people or people who dress differently than they do. They think people that are my good friends are using me just because I have a car. They don't trust a good friend of mine because of a freak incident a few weeks ago. They don't want me to be seen with people who may be judged as "disreputable" soley because of what they wear, even though they are actually really cool people when you get to know them. We had the same conversation about clothing about this time last year too. My parents are, as my brother says, jackasses when it comes to judging people.
Can I help it if I'm better friends with freshmen, sophomores, and juniors instead of seniors? I have a bunch of really cool friends, and I don't think their age should matter to my parents.
Friends: I won't let this hinder me from hanging out with those of you who are younger, but could I possibly hang out w. some seniors sometimes? Not only to appease my parents, but that might just be fun!
Oh, the rest of my week was uneventful... I might update about my senior gift if I get around to it.
