Your theme challenge, should you use to accept it....
Spring has sprung, that means we are going to see growth everywhere. That said, use the word GROW or some variation in the title of your layout and make sure that your layout illustrates growth in some way, shape or form.
The twist: this is a 1-10 challenge. You must you the elements listed below to create your layout using the specified number next to each element. You may use more than the required number if you like but this will not give you extra bonus points.
*1 PHOTO
*2 stamps
*3 brads
*4 different cardstocks (dont need to use the whole sheet)
*5 different patterned papers (dont need to use the whole sheet)
*6 staples
*7 eyelets
*8 buttons
*9 bling (can be replaced with 9 different dots of stickles or something else that is sparkly)
*10 inches of thread or ribbon
your layout will be judged based on the following:
1. interesting use of the theme.
2. usage of all required elements
3. aesthetic appeal
my layout was a scraplift of one created last month by my dear friend Kandi Phillips. Her layout was gorgeous and I hope my variation on it did the overall layout justice. Thanks for the inspiration, kandi!
Create a scrapbook page following the challenge guidelines. Submissions must be uploaded HERE by 7 pm Eastern time Thursday, May 13th. A winner will be drawn based on the above criteria on Friday morning and added to the top of this challenge thread.
You may enter as many submissions as you like for this challenge, but please do not submit duplicate challenge submissions. We like to see new submissions for each
challenge.
Because this is such a HARD challenge, and because I just love to torture you by doing the 1-10s... If you are in the United States, the winner will receive a LARGE rak from me. If you are outside the US, you will receive a $10 gift certificate to a scrapbooking site of your choice.
