what the flock?

Sep 17, 2008 19:17

I had a lot of fun with the flocking technique. prior to this week, i had tried flocking once and it was a disaster. i swore up and down i would never do this technique again... but i did.

i really enjoyed this burgundy flocking on this paper by black market paper society as provided by SG.

i also decided to write with a glaze pen directly on the center photo. not sure how i feel about this but i am strictly against redoing a layout when i have deemed it to be "done"

more flocking

and another close up

i tried some yellow flocking on this one but it really didnt show up so i gave up. it was too much hard work for little outcome.

Scrubby saw that i had blown up this photo into an 8x10 and he didnt understand why. i told him it was because i had a great idea for a layout. and when i was done and showed it to him, he loved it. i really love it too. i flocked the "ifrolic" and used glaze pens as a border.

this is a boring layout done with my little yellow bicycle papers. not all layouts can be winners.

love this one. seriously. i loved it. maybe its the foil harlequin papers... i dont know.

and this is for the karate book. its hard to scrap newspaper articles but i think that kind of thing is very important. especially when it comes to my karate career.

thanks for looking. as always, feedback and comments appreciated.
