I'm back in Ithaca. There is snow on the ground. I changed my flight at
the last minute on Saturday and ended up spending an extra day with
Braden. In exchange for it, I had to take three planes instead of two
(Seattle > Atlanta > Cincinnati > Wilkes-Barre/Scranton) and
spend 30 minutes waiting third in line at security because the entire
airport was shut down. The cause is unknown. Karma.
I have 20 days until the end. Between now and December 17 I must
*Write a detailed legal memo about the Establishment Clause and Decalogue monuments on public property
*Write a five page essay for African Politics about culture in Africa and the movie "Dirty, Pretty Things"
*Write a five page essay for African Politics about genocide in African and the movie "Hotel Rwanda"
*Make an ad campaign for Threeimaginarygirls.com. (Time is an issue
because the teacher canceled 2 out of 3 classes the week before break
and has yet to approve of our concepts.)
*Make a media buying campaign for Audience Reseach and the XBox 360.
Sorry Sharon, I couldn't find transit/outdoor dollar info anywhere, but
I didn't look that hard. Give me a day.
*Consumer Behavior final. I got a 95 on the last test and if I get another grade like that, I might be able to pull an A.
*Two Consumer Behavior case studies. (The easiest points to earn ever).
*Two week days of RA duty and one weekend of duty.
*Random Legal Studies TA tasks.
*Phone interview with Justice Utter about Afghanistan for the independent study.
In other news, I'm waiting around for paperwork to fill out so I can
receive a security clearance to work in the House of Lords, which is
apparently where I will most likely be interning. Good for me, because
I fully intend to track down Christopher Guest, and anyone who is
friends with Mark Knopfler.
