Finally Janurary first!
I know it's really the 13th but I've finally made it up to the first in my sketchbook! I basically didn't get anything done from before Christmas up through perhaps the 28th, after my parents left. I figure that if I can keep up on two pages a day I'll be current by around the 28th. My New Years resolution was to be done by February first so I think I'm on track. Because I have this Monday upcoming off I'll try to get three in.
The only problem is that I don't feel like I'm producing quality work. There's some good stuff in those pages but sometimes it feels like I'm punching the clock. Oh well! At this point I think I'm gaining just as much benefit from having to work myself out of a hole as I am with my practice. So that's something!
I'm in the process of buying a scanner right now. No one carries the one I really want. So I hope that by Valentines Day I'll be able to turn this into an art blog. My goal would be to draw a new page every day and scan something from that and post it. So I hope everyone is ready to look at the steaming turd I call my sketchbook!
