I so tired from walking around the ape expo just now. But it was TOTALLY worth it! Although I didn't get a book from Chris Hastings (he was too popular to have a short line). Here's my haul, I even came back with some pocket change. But now I wish I had spent it...
I'm sure that doesn't fit in any tables...
Top row: The first volume of
The Meek and a mini about a cat in hell, a print from
Octopus Pie , a print of Emperor Norton from
Kate Beaton , and the press info book.
Middle row: a comic with
Erika Moen and
Lucy Knisley then a booklet and stick from E. Moen, A mini by some dude sitting next to Spike, a mini by Jarrett Williams (see below), The 3rd chapter for
Templar AZ.
Bottom: The sketch book from
Aaron Diaz, great guy! drew me a picture of Tiny Carl Jung, Two minis by
Michael May, perhaps more awesome than Aaron Diaz? The 2007-2008 daily comics from
Kevin Brukhalter, another mini from
Jarrett Williams, both of these guys do a podcast that I listen to. and some extra stuff from Michael May.
It was really fun and all the artists were super nice. With the small exception of Meredith Gran who was eating lunch at the time.
It was my goal to get some print to frame. But it looks like I just got a mess of books and minis. Not so bad really.
Dang! I didn't take a picture of my Templar AZ patch
