I've been on LJ since Oct. 2005. I wasn't as active the first few months, but then I became very active and remained so ever since. I generally update 4-6 times a week. I write about anything and everything! *grin* I've made a lot of cool and interesting friends on LJ, and joined some great communities.
I guess the only thing lacking is comments. I *do* get comments on most of my entries, but it's a small number compared to the # of comments I leave for others, and the # of folks on my Friends list. Many folks seem so caught up in writing in their journals, and replying to comments folks give them, that they don't have time to comment in the journals of others. Just for the record, I'm not aggro. :) They're all good people, and they certainly don't HAVE to give comments. I'd never un-friend someone just because they don't comment much. I'm not judgemental or superficial, and I totally understand not everyone loves commenting like I do.
HOWEVER, I must admit I'd be sooo happy to get just a little more action in my comments!! For some reason it just totally makes my day when I see someone was interested in sharing their thoughts. *blush* Maybe I'm an idealistic fool, but I kind of feel commenting is a 2-way street. If you like getting them, you should also leave them. :)
My journal's 90% public, so feel free to take a peek. And of course, my user profile has all my interests. If you want to add me to your Friends list, that's cool. I'll probably add you right back, as long as we have enough things in common. If we don't, that's OK too. Not everyone is compatible with everyone else, and not everyone is into the same things. If you don't find me interesting, no hard feelings!! :) Life's too short to sweat the small stuff!
