She never thought she’d be happy to leave London but the little cottage Remus calls home is peaceful and quiet and as loathe as she is to admit it, she needs that right now. It’s not home but they’re fighting a war meaning home is a luxury and luxuries are rarely found in such times. The flat she owned in Camden is rented out because they’ve got a wedding to plan (more like her mother has planned) and money is always a funny issue in times of strife. It seems like such a trivial thing to worry about even though it was one of his arguments. Too poor indeed; nothing wrong with the witch being the breadwinner of the family and besides, Remus is far better at her when it comes to cooking and cleaning. She learns how to make Wolfsbane, her shoulders cramping from how careful she is not to make the slightest mistake and that first full moon she doesn’t sleep, staring at his side of the bed, hand fisted in the pillow ( ... )
