Hi! I’m brumeier, and today’s prompts have been touched by evil! Today's theme is HUMAN MONSTERS! Prompts can be anything - serial killers, experiments gone wrong, people with good intentions making horrible choices - so long as it involves humans doing bad, bad things, however you want to interpret that.

They find her in the library no more than five minutes after the announcement of a discovered corpse in a supply cupboard.

(They say it was a student, children whisper as they are forcefully dispersed down the halls and into their rooms. Scowling teachers guiding them, eyes swimming with the kind of grief that only fuels rumors.

I heard it was a mudblood, whispers an ninth year to her friends, all too young and too pretty, I hear they have the worst tempers.She's buried in a book as usual, but they can see right away the situation is wrong. When her eyes shift it isn't because she's reading the page, and the calm look she usually gets from reading holds an air of forced intensity to it ( ... )

Wow what a first fill! I love this little AU, I adore the idea of the GT laughing at their destinies and Hermione starting it...such a lovely turn on gender roles, that. I like how everyone's still in character: she runs to the library, Ron makes a joke, Harry has the emotional support. Beautifully done!
