What is it with this professor guy that I just can't stop staring? Maybe it’s the math, yeah, that’s what it is. The math. I’ve never seen anything like it before, it’s just really interesting.
God, Granger, get a grip on yourself!! The math? Seriously? A new found fascination for equations? Face it Granger, you’re attracted to the guy. Big time. No denying it.

“I said, it’s okay if you aren’t following,” Charlie inclined his head to the board.

"It’s just,” Charlie continued, “you've been staring at the board for the past ten minutes.”
Oh fuck!
“Ummm, yeah, the board, staring at the board.” A slow flush crept across Colby’s cheeks.
Jesus Granger, can you try and sound any more lame?
“I could try and explain it in simpler terms, if you were really interested?” Charlie tilted his head hopefully, his lip caught between his teeth.
Ooh, yeah, you’re interested alright Granger. Now act cool, you’re a cool guy, you can do this, you’re army trained for Gods sake.
“Maybe over lunch?”
Smooth.
“Sure, lunch sounds great, let me grab my notes.”
“Here, I’ll get them for you.”
Colby gathered together all the paper and notepads from the desk. A small satisfied smile quirked at Charlie’s mouth, which broadened into a grin when he met Colby’s gaze.
A corresponding spark of something flared in Colby’s chest and he looked away, the eye contact too much to handle.
Holy Christ Toto, I don’t think were in Idaho anymore.
