This deviated a little but from what I had planned at first thought. A reader could set this after Children of Earth if they wanted to, but it contains no spoilers for it ( ... )

*mouth hanging open* I've always wanted to see a Highlander/Torchwood crossover written and this was awesome. I mean their both immortals so...and they are both attractive soo....

Hehe, truth be told, Torchwood was my entry into the Who universe. So I had no idea how Jack became Immortal at first, so I thought he was a Highlander style immortal and had visions of doing a Highlander/Torchwood crossover in that vein before I got a little bit more of Jack's backstory (and fell head first into the Doctor Who/Torchwood fandom. I blame Jack for making Torchwood my 'gateway drug' into Who so to speak, but I Ten for finally making me fall fully into the fandom). I do eventually have planned a fully - blown crossover between Who/Torchwood/Highlander that would feature heavy doses of Methos as a continuation of a fic I did for quote_inspired
