The Opposite of War Isn't Peace... lilithisbitter June 6 2009, 15:31:41 UTC
Billy glanced over at the bespectacled redhead who was still looking at the tombstone. It seemed rather impolite to leave a fellow grave visitor there so Billy placed his cheap bouquet of flowers at the foot of Penny's grave and wandered over. "You know," the man was saying, "I know we said we'd bury you in Santa Fe, but I figure with all of this anarchy uprising with the super villain movement, well this was a place for an anarchist like you." Billy smiled slightly at this, muscles slightly creaking with lack of use.

"He sounds like a g-good person," Billy said and the other man whirled around so fast that the ends of his scarf walloped him in the face. "Sorry... I just l-like listening t-to p-people talking."

The other man made a brief 'o' with his mouth. "That's okay... I didn't think anyone was here." He stuck out his hand. "I'm Mark Cohen."

Billy studied the hand as if it might leap up and snap him in two. Good possibility, he hadn't been eating well for a while. "William Crandall, but everyone c-calls me Billy." He pointed over to the grave. "And that's..."

"Roger Davis."

"It's nice to meet him." Billy pointed over in the direction he had come from. "She's Penny. I guess you aren't the only one to trail behind a corpse."

Mark did something unexpected. He laughed. "Classical anarchist thinking. So... want to grab a coffee?"

"Sure."

Yay! Love Billy's name and I love his stutter. This is so bitter sweet. When one door closes another one opens. I love it. Thankyou.

Sorry Penny, but this would be a cute pairing. Very nice. Never thought of this crossover before.
