"Of course I did," Spencer says immediately, and the sincerity in his voice settles Dave immeasurably. "Although I don't know what I'm going to do with a watch that costs more than my entire wardrobe."

"Wear it. And let me take you shopping." Dave smiles.

"You just want to peep on me in the dressing room," Spencer accuses cheerfully.

"That would be one benefit of the exercise, yes. Can I ask why Sweetest Day gets me a smiling Spencer Reid... whereas Valentine's earned me a debate of whether or not teddy bears are an emasculating gift item?"

Spencer blushes the way Dave likes and says that, this holiday, he's done some gift-shopping of his own. Then he refuses to answer Dave's excited questions, as to what Spencer might have gotten him as a gift, until after dinner.

Dave is patient. Not knowing what to expect, through dinner... and separate showers...

When Reid looks at him coyly, through the fringe of his lashes, and, nervous, asks Dave to kiss him, Dave wonders if this - their lovemaking - is meant to be his gift. He certainly ( ... )

This is perfect. I love Rossi giving him gifts like that. (I have a soft spot for sugar daddy!Rossi) And Reid giving him the perfect gift. "g" But now I want to know what he does for Rossi's b-day. "pokes" "gives puppy dog eyes of doom"

lol...I was thinking fluff, but this works too. Fluff is rather hard to come by in the SPN fandom for some reason. "g" I love Dean's lesson here. Everything else might suck, but pie is always good. Explains why he likes it so much.

I started out thinking it'd be fluffy.. but yeah, the SPN fandom has a way of dragging you down, lol. Glad you enjoyed it anyway, :)
