It had been meant for Jack. Every breath Will took reminded him of the fact, and as the months stretched into years, he grew to understand what it was that Jack had wanted.

So when he arrives beside the ship Jack's been sailing around aimlessly, he knows what he's going to do.

Jack doesn't seem to understand, though he will. Will smirks as he comes up behind the other man.

"It was meant to be mine," Jack hisses as Will bends him over and starts to take him.

But Will can't give him immortality. He can just give him this small taste.

Abby hated funerals, more than just the grief and the pain. Abby hated the smell of the dirt and the flowers and the sympathy from people who couldn't possibly understand. She hated the solemn frown of the priest and the dirty fake grass and the fact what whatever the spin it was never a 'celebration of life'. Abby hated all funerals and she hated this one even more because there was no body in the coffin, no family at the grave side and Stephen's name on the headstone
