Eliot, even amid a flurry of action, is completely in control. His hands putting you exactly where he wants you, his judgment measuring speed and impact so precisely it's hard to believe.
His words are aggressive. But when it comes down to it, he feels good about taking a hit for (from) the team.
Hardison is cocky, which makes him strive to do the impossible. His fingers move faster than anyone's, and though he has the annoying habit of yelling "Age of the Geek" at inappropriate moments, neither Parker nor Eliot could deny that he earns his right to gloat. Their bodies, their responses, voluntary and involuntary, speak in a code that most people find offputting and difficult and dangerous and sad. But Hardison is good at code. It's his playground and they all know it.
