The thing is nothing like you'd see on a little girl's lunch box.

For one it's short and stocky, more like a pony than a horse. For another it's got blood that Dean's pretty sure is not it's own staining it's mouth, coat and horn. But it's definitely a Unicorn, whatever else it may be.

And what it is is one ugly, mean looking little bastard.

Sam, of course, coos over it like the giant girl he is even as the thing lowers it's head threateningly.

Looking at it, Dean really believes the old stories about unicorns being born of the rage and despair of raped and murdered women.

He grabs Sam's arm when Sam starts to step closer to the thing and pulls him back to the Impala, moving as slowly and non threateningly as he can.

He does NOT want to be skewered where that horn is pointing.

Sam wouldn't have expected to see one here. He wouldn't have expected to see one at all, but especially not here. A convent seemed anathema to creatures out of myths and fairy tales. But the moon was full and the light was clear, and there was a luminescent white unicorn rearing and striking at the demons who were trying to get inside. Sam could easily hear the screams of the sisters inside over the snarls of the demons, and pelted forward, flask of holy water in one hand, blessed knife in the other ( ... )

RPS/Merlin, Christian Kane/Steve Carlson, the one where Steve is Arthur and Christian is Merlin (and an extra cookie if Christian uses 'clotpole' or 'prat' *grins*)

"Um..." Steve began glancing at the pice of paper in his hand. "Aren't you supposed to turn him into a tree?"

Chris blinked at him before breaking character. "Well, yeah, in the original script. But why would I show myself to be a sorcerer this early. 'Your father has sorcerers put to death, you prat!'" he adds, dropping back into character as the stuntman Chris has evidently co-opted for this scene claps him on the back and heads off to re-set the scene while the director screams something about sticking to what was written and the script writer mutters something urgent to him.

Steve glares back at him for a second before grumbling as Arthur, "I should lock you in the stocks for the rest of the day, you buffoon."

Chris grins at him - completely not the intended effect - and jostles him with his shoulder. "Do you promise?"

I have mentioned loving your brain right? Just so we're clear. ♥

You're also lucky I can't seem to generate prompts fitting today's theme...

Totally off in my own little timeline given that I know Big Lucy and Big Mike get canned, but have no clue other than that as to plot XD

Damn, I need to start watching SPN again...

They're passing through Kansas when they hear it. A story about two brothers who drive a big black Mustang -

- "Impala," Dean growls -

- who saved the world and chained the Devil. It's a story of nobility and sacrifice and the old man who's telling it is clearly reciting from memory, as though from a story he had heard long ago.

They ask Castiel about it later, but his answer is tied up in convoluted language that loses even Sam, something about the story always having been there even though it may not have always been there yesterday and in the end they wave him to silence and tell him to eat his burger.

"If it's always been there," Dean grumbles, "They should know it's an Impala not some wussy Mustang."
