Fangtasia was a land of fantasy for the weak willed human and the hungry vampire. Some people just didn't belong. Sookie Stackhouse, in as so far as she upheld clean southern living and a love of life, did not belong.

Usually, Eric picked out the unwanted long before they made their way to his chair, but somehow this human - admittedly lovely, dark curls tumbling to her waist, porcelain skin, regal bearing, fierce eyes; he would feed from her - slipped by without his notice until she stepped onto the dais and touched him.

Eric slapped her away and met a force harder than stone. The girl released him and stepped back into the protective arms of her companion. A brother, perhaps? Strong features under a mop - Oh, god, his hair. That hadn't been a good looking in the middle ages. Eric might kill him just for inflicting it upon the masses. Some evils were inexcusable. - but his eyes were a stirring gold.

Magic.

Eric growled and Pam stepped away, cutting off their escape.

"Stop it, Merlin!" The young woman pushed his arms away and stepped on the dais again. Brave, at least. Foolish, but brave. Eric didn't waste time on the foolish.

But, she didn't defer to him or ask his forgiveness when she spoke. Instead, she demanded his attention with her bearing and met his eyes without fear, "Listen to me," she spoke firmly, full of a natural elegance, "Mac Dara is coming. You've opened to doors to the unseelie and the Tuathe De are seizing the chance to rule the land."

Eric sneered. Humans and their legends. First vampires, now fairies. Soon he'd be flooded with reports of Santa Claus.

"Think of Ireland," She snapped, stepping closer, face him angrily and not the least bit afraid. "You're old enough to remember, I'm told. The last days of Deirdre? The Seelie Court is still sealed. The locked themselves away from mortals centuries ago, but Mac Dara... Mac Dara wants to rule to world, whether it be under fire or ice."

"Morgana," He companion shook his head, eying the silent club nervously. Someone had a brain at least, "He's not listening. We have to try someone else."

"No!" She cut him off, "Eric Northman is the one, Merlin. I saw it."

Merlin? Morgana? Fae? Oh bravo, "Is this what they call LARPing?" Eric drawled loosely, hooding his eyes and crossing his arms.

Merlin - Eric expected him to wear more glitter, honestly - blinked and cocked his head in confusion.

"You arrogant small-minded beast, would you listen to me." The lights flashes and tables flew as she boomed her disastifaction, eye glowing a fierce burnished gold.

Just like the boy's.

Eric tensed immediately.

"We are not children, this is not a game, and if you do not help us, the Dark Prince will reign destruction down on your world leaving nothing behind but imps and banshees to herald the dead. There is no balance to his blackness, now. Do you understand?"

Eric watched her carefully, not in the least appreciating the floor show she'd made of dire information, but it was Pam who answered, "Yes, yes, all very dramatic. Is there a reason you couldn't call?"
