Logan packed the freshly fallen snow into a ball and hurled it at the back of Alec's head.

The cold snow hit Alec square on, bits of the broken snowball sliding down the back of his neck and under the collar of his jacket. Alec shivered and turned to glare at Logan. "What was that for?"

"Nothing," Logan said with a shrug. "The first snowfall of the year calls for a snowball fight."

Alec raised an eyebrow as he brushed the quickly melting snow out of his hair. "Snowball fight? What's that?"

"You've never had a snowball fight?" Logan asked in disbelief.

Alec shrugged. "Military upbringing."

"Yeah, but, snowball fights could be used as training. Picking teammates, building forts, formulating plans of attack, stowing snowballs in secret places. It's the funnest thing about snow aside from building a snowman."

"Well, if it involves any kind of fun, we weren't allowed to do it. What's a snowman."

Logan sighed. "You've got a lot to learn... I think I'll need to call Max for backup."
