Hello, everyone. I’m
fabrisse and today's theme is the four seasons of the year, appropriate for the autumnal equinox, yes? Prompts can be a year in the life of a character or relationship using the seasons as touch points, or a glorious spring fling, summer romance, autumn harvest, or winter escapade. It can be someone in the autumn of her life reflecting on her summer and spring (or meditating on her life’s approaching winter). It can be the feasts or fasts of the seasons. It can even be something about Vivaldi’s music or Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons (if you must).
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found
here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
Kill Your Darlings, Allen Ginsburg/Lucien Carr, The heat goes out in the dorm on a cold winter night so they huddle together for warmth.
Stargate SG-1, Jack O’Neill + Daniel Jackson + Samantha Carter + Teal’c, the hardest part of gate travel is that the seasons on the other side of the gate don’t match Colorado’s
The Hour, Bel Rowley/Freddy Lyon (Lix Storm, Hector Madden optional), He was gone for a year, and each season gave him a new way to miss his Moneypenny.
We use AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the
Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2016 collection. See further notes on this new option
here.
