There were a lot of reasons for sitting on the floor. Being on the ground gave him easy access to his dogs and at the same time saved a little wear and tear on the couch from their paws. Depending on the chair or sofa, sitting on the floor gave him a lot more room to stretch his legs, particularly if he moved nearby tables. But the best reason for sitting on the floor was this - it gave Jensen easy access to his hair.
Jared closed his eyes and leaned his head against Jensen’s leg. For the moment, there was nothing in the touch other then Jensen absently running his fingers through his hair while they watched TV; it couldn’t make Jared happier. He could hear Jensen’s chuckle at the sounds he was making. “Dude, are you purring?”
Jared smiled against Jensen’s leg; he didn’t mind being teased because Jensen’s fingers didn’t stop moving. “I like when you do that.”
“Do what?” Jensen seemed honestly confused; the way he touched Jared was such an extension of himself he didn’t even know he was doing it.
Tipping his head back to look up Jared answered, “Run you fingers through my hair.”
Jensen’s caress stilled for just a moment, and then his face broke into a warm smile that was only for Jared. He leaned forward to kiss Jared’s upturned face using the hand that was already tangled in Jared’s hair to pull him closer. Jensen pulled away from the kiss with a smile and turned his attention back to the game. Jared leaned his head contentedly against Jensen’s knee knowing the kiss held a promise of so much more, but for now the hand in his hair was enough.
Sweet! Leave it to Jared to sit on the ground to be with the puppies. I love that Jensen doesn't even know. I have this vision (since I heard about his major being physical therapy, or whatever) that he's got a touching thing. And since he knows he's got it, he doesn't. Whatever.. my brain. Anyway, this totally feeds me. =)
Okay, I never heard (how is that possible?) about PT being an area of interest, but it totally fits with my J2 world-view, so I approve! I TOTALLY get what you're saying, sister! Glad I can feed you.
