POTC, Jack Sparrow, losing one of his hands

William still touches it with reverence, all these years past.

It mystifies Jack that he should, that he would want to, but evenso the Captain stands quiet when Will gets that look in his eye, his hands reaching to lift Jack’s elbow and unwrap the garishly tasseled scarf that pads his decorative hook. Oh yes a hook, gem encrusted, because he is Captain Jack Sparrow and anything less would be tantamount to mutiny on his own person. He does like the shine of it, too
