...qui voudrait d'un soldat rose
Last night I did get round to watching Le Soldat Rose and Oh My Gosh - it was wonderful! I couldn't take my eyes of the screen from start to finish, it was magical. Obviously there was a language issue, but that didn't matter and the very little bit of French I know helped me out a bit.
Just a little about my MOST favourite performances
-M- - Le Soldat Rose
Actually quite a sad song and -M-'s voice just carry's it so well. I can't really put it into words, you kind of have to see it.
Sanseverino - Tout Le Monde Se Presse
I loved this song from the moment I heard it on the album, but seeing Sanseverino all costumed up as the Le Conducteur de Train and everything was just wonderful.
Shirley & Dino - Chien et Chat
Again another song I loved from the album already but even funnier seeing it performed live and all costumed up as the Roi et Reine. So cute.
Vanessa Paradis - Made In Asia
I don't need to even tempt to describe how adorable it was because it was Vanessa!
Louis Chedid - La Panthère Noire En Peluche
Haha. Seeing Louis with his Panther costume and his face painted black and what have you was just wonderful, him being followed around the stage by the musica girls stroking his fur was so cute! Lol.
Céline Bary & -M- - Love Love Love
Awww. Just Awwww! Hehe.
Also the fact that the DVD has French subtitles for the songs was wicked because it meant I could attempt to sing along too which was pretty cool. Lol.
