Kaaaaame haaaame-- hakushu.

(Today in our lunch group, I had to compete against third graders in a pun-making contest until the one to my left had a complete rage tantrum. I think I peaked at "The flavor of hydrangea is the flavor of horse-mackerel." Japanese puns in English are kind of zen. Or Dadaist. Or both. Whatever. But I got the most laughs with "ARE THERE ANY DOLPHINS?!")

BLAH BLAH I SUCK AND AM UNABLE TO GRASP THE FACT THAT I AM LEAVING JAPAN VERY SOON AND HAVE WAY TOO MANY THINGS TO DO IN NOT ENOUGH TIME HENCE LIVEJOURNAL DODGE DODGE DODGITY DODGE.

Posting about food is probably for people with actual food blogs or at least the patience to hold off on wolfing their vittles until AFTER they've managed to photograph them but DAMN I liked my dinner!

...it was avacado-grapefruit salad (THANKS, AL! avacado and grapefruit, chunked. Thinly sliced purple onion. A little balsamic, olive oil, and black pepper.) and spring rolls with raw spinach, raw cabbage, and reconstituted french fries from the discount hot-foods section at the super market (I sauteed them in sesame oil with chili powder, coriander, salt, pepper, lime juice, and soy sauce, and rolled 'em up with the greens.)

Also, the last grape popsicle from a box that may have been in the freezer since my last birthday. It was a very interesting shape. Then I watched like six episodes of Daria and did not do anything on my to-do list except "go over to-do list and pick something to do." Picked it. Didn't do it. Hate. Self.

...THANK YOU AND GOODNIGHT!
