Well, I guess the worst part about it all is that it's so hard to watch my dad continue to make my mom feel bad, and to be able to do nothing about it. I'm honestly numb at this point--my father told me he was sorry I was so ugly today (referring to my behavior/attitude) and I absolutely did not care. There was a time when that would have made me feel guilty, or brought me to tears, but... I'm just tired, these days.
*huggles* Thank you for the offer. :3 If it ever gets really bad, I'll take you up on the offer. The good news is that I'll be going back to school next weekend, so I won't have to see him for several months.
It really was a lot of fun! I was hoping it would be. I was especially pleased that the funniest parts of the movie were not actually used for the previews. I hate it when they do that. It was quite cute--I'm hoping it'll be out in time for my birthday. :3
I am going to do my best to see to it. I'm trying to get a part-time job this Spring at college. Upon my success, I think I can officially declare myself as "going" unless something huge and disastrous rears its head in the future. :D It would be very awesome to see you---don't you live outside of Texas? Are you coming for a concert, or sumthin? :x Cuz I know there are bigger cons in this world than A-kon. (And someday, I hope to go see em.)
I got a bit confused. I forget sometimes that all univs don't start back at the same time; FSU is going back today. Being away may make it easier to deal with, I agree.
It is annoying when they do that, isn't it? Though I have to say it was nice seeing Robin Williams back in a comedy, but not doing a leading role; he seems to do better when he has someone to foil off of.
I'm going to A-kon because I've got in a friend in Alabama, a friend in Oklahoma, and a friend in Texas all asking me to show up... and there's no way in hell I'm going to Anime Weekend Atlanta again. (I usually have to pay the cursing jar every time I mention AWA now.)
